Your first visit is an opportunity for us to learn more about you, your condition and your expectations and to determine whether we can help you reach your goals.

When you arrive, our receptionist will greet you and welcome you to the Anatomie family. If you haven’t already filled out the
registration form you will be asked to complete it when you arrive. The form includes your contact details, health insurance details (if appropriate) and you will need to provide a brief health history and details of any medication you are on.

Consultation
You will be introduced to your therapist who will evaluate your health- related concerns, and then discuss the way forward and potential treatment options.

During the consultation, your therapist will with your consent, conduct an examination including neurological, orthopedic, postural and physical assessment. Nothing will be done in our clinic without your full consent and agreement.

Once all the information has been recorded and examinations have been performed, we will discuss our findings and answer your questions including the three most popular questions:

1. Can you help me?
2. What do you recommend that I do to get better?
3. How much is it going to cost?

If time allows and if appropriate within your first session we will to start your treatment. Your body goes through three stages in order to repair itself correctly and fully. The three stages of recovery are:-

Stage 1: Relief Care

Each person’s needs are individual so it’s difficult to estimate how many sessions in total but you can rest assured that our aims are the same as yours - to relieve your pain and get you better as quickly as possible.

Stage 2: Rehabilitation
During the rehab stage, muscles and other tissues are encouraged to heal and strengthen completely. This will help prevent a re-occurrence of the problem or injury. It is typical to need care 4-8 times per month, depending on your overall health and the severity of your problems.

Stage 3: Wellness Care
Once your body has fully healed, it is important to not ignore the way you live your life. We can help you avoid problems in the future and LIVE YOUR LIFE - TO THE FULL.
