But even with the best of intentions there will be times that you will need help to stay fit and achieve your health goals.
Osteopathy can help
If you suffer from back pain, repetitive strain injury, arthritis, a sports injury ... or you’re an expectant mother or senior citizen, we can help. Our osteopaths detect and treat damaged muscles, ligaments, nerves and joints ... and use a variety of techniques to help your body recover its balance and efficiency and heal itself ... naturally.
Specialist training
Osteopaths undertake an intense full time degree course just like physios with specific emphases on anatomy, physiology, pathology, neurology, X-rays, spinal adjusting and soft tissue techniques.
Is Osteopathy safe?
Osteopathy was the first complementary therapy to gain statutory recognition and is proven to be remarkably safe - certainly much safer than taking pain killers!
Does it really work?
Yes ... Our patients are our best evidence. After treatment, many report increased general wellbeing - not just improvement with the problem that made them turn to osteopathy in the first place.
Visit our A-Z of Injury page for information on common injuries and conditions.
Anatomie osteopaths are all members of the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) who regulate the profession of osteopathy. The society maintains a statutory register of those entitled to practice and only practitioners meeting the highest standard of safety and competency are eligible for registration.
