PHYSIOTHERAPY

If you suffer from any joint or muscle problem Physiotherapy can help relieve your pain and get you moving again. Enjoying life to the fullest can be difficult when you have persistent aches or discomfort. Physiotherapy is a non-invasive form of treatment that addresses problems in joints, discs, muscles, tendons, ligaments, and nerves that cause pain, stiffness and weakness.

ACUPUNCTURE

A number of our Physiotherapists have gained additional qualifications in Acupuncture and often use it alongside Physiotherapy, particularly in the treatment of inflammatory joint conditions. Physiotherapists are in a unique position of being able to combine Acupuncture with other treatment methods such as exercises, manipulation, and stretching. This combined approach is more likely to lead to successful rehabilitation.

SHOCKWAVE THERAPY

Anatomie are one of the few physiotherapy clinics to be able to offer Shockwave Therapy – For more information please feel free to speak to one of our clinical specialists This amazingly effective treatment for tendon and soft tissue problems uses high-intensity sound waves to improve metabolism and blood circulation, which stimulate the body’s repair mechanisms and allows it to do a better job of healing itself – at a greatly increased rate – particularly in the case of chronic, longstanding conditions.

MASSAGE THERAPY

All treatments are carried out by qualified and experienced therapists from Bodyworks Massage Therapy. Bodyworks add a new dimension to the Anatomie experience. Bodyworks fully qualified and experienced therapists offer a range of therapies and employ a variety of remedial techniques to enhance health and well-being. They also work closely with our physiotherapists providing specialised massage as part of a treatment or ongoing maintenance program for injury prevention.
